Miami is very well coached but I'm amazed at their conditioning. They're scrappy. They defend hard, every posession, pick up the ball 3/4s, give nothing on the perimeter. Box score will say they played 7 (but with nothing from the bench).

They shot the lights out and gave Girard fits all night. Miami probably played their best game all season. They looked like the squad that made a run last year.

Teams with speed give us trouble. Miami is athletic, quick and has great ball movement. I've noticed Brownell go to a zone a couple times and it's worked. Should probably try giving that look more often. Like it or not Girard will always be a bit of a handicap. Clemson not as defensively sound or tough as we've been in years past. Have overcome that.

Miami looked like the better team in every facet. Nothing to cry about as they were a final four team last year.

Season really just getting started! Still missing some guys. Clemson can get better. And we will.
