Winston is an embarrassment to college football. B. Bowden would have let him go long ago. His college career should be over.

I dunno. Might wanna ask Peter Warrick about that. Long before Jameis "Free Crab Legs" Winston came along, the Ole Ball Coach laid the nickname "Free Shoes University" on FSU.
Bobby B's guys were hardly saints, and at FSU in the '90's, if there wasn't a body, it wasn't anything at all. And I personally know a girl who got raped - at Clemson - by one of Tommy West's guys, and when she tried to report it, the cops wouldn't even take her statement. Football players, until very recently, have gotten a free pass when it came to doing pretty much whatever they wanted to women. I will say Tommy Bowden, whatever his faults, did a lot to clean that up at Clemson, and Dabo has zero tolerance whatsoever towards violence towards women. But then, Dabo was raised by a single mother and his dad was an alcoholic, which gives you some idea why Dabo might have a dim view of abusers (him giving the boot to Chad Kelly this summer after Kelly verbally abused Ali Green in a parking lot is a pretty good indicator.)
This viral backlash that's going against chick-punching football players is definitely media-fueled, but it's also been a long time building. I suspect there's going to be a lot more examples before people realize things are a-changing.
