but I will give her credit where credit is due. After taking my daughters to see her in concert three different times over the years, she comes out and performs for two plus hours non-stop and puts on a show for her fans.

My comment was referencing Ray Ray’s wording, and the fact that it wasn’t correct.
“She’s great at what she does” would have been preferable to “She good at what she do.”

Having alums who don’t speak correctly reflects poorly on our school. It’s further evidence that we’ve lost our way in college athletics, prioritizing the athletics and not the academics.
“Student-athlete” is becoming a misnomer.

but you can't make that horse use correct grammar or enunciate properly.
No matter how much education someone may have, using correct grammar has to be intentional and old speaking habits can be really hard to break.
