On a scale of 1-10. Outside of just Clemson.

I give it like a 5

Oregon/Washington and Oklahoma/Texas were the best bigtime games. A few wild moments but for the most part it was a fairly bland season I think. Not that many upsets or great stories compared to previous years it feels like.

4.5 for the same reasons you stated. Just really bland and I know this has nothing to do with on field performance but the increased commercials really put a downer on watching

Fair assessment. The Bama/Auburn magic yesterday made it mean just that much more. But watching some of the BIGwhatever games have been meh at best.

The Tigers winning a few more of those gutty ones would have definitely improved my view of the season but my Clemson Orange colored glasses are too scarred to imagine that now.

I think the one thing that could make the post season more exciting would be if someone like Texas snuck into the playoff. Not to say they are one of the 4 best but would be a much more exciting game than FSU v UGA.

The Lvl FSU game will be fun to see.

Seems to be less offense and more defense compared to years past. I think teams have learned to defend the RPO better. The Colorado drama to begin the year was over the top.

In my view, CFB as a whole, has been trending more and more in the direction of bland for a number of years now. Even before Covid. I would rate the season somewhere between 5 and 6.
