Ranking of brands in CFB via high school athletes

Interesting take on ranking recruiting prowess in college football based on the perception of brands by high school athletes. Breaks down teams into different tiers.

that is a very interesting read

the only factor that is not wholly considered is recency of success... bama is only #19 as a brand but their success obviously plays a role in them actually landing (usually) a top 2 recruiting class.
ultimately, a recruit will balance opportunity to win championships with the depth chart with relationship to the coach to make their decision...
i don't think it points to a definite but there is enough of a relationship here for programs to take note and find their niche in it...

Some grouping analysis of the conferences shows that conference affiliation is what mainly drives revenues. In other words, Clemson could about double revenues if they were a member of the SEC. Much cheaper route would be to replace Swofford and work to strengthen the ACC football brand to raise TV revenues.

Yep, it sure did. Hard to think back when it wasn’t used.
