Football thing. FSU has ALWAYS had better recruiting classes on paper than us. To continually go on about this as if 2016 is the first time is the height of ignorance and why this forum earns the moniker of "the mange."
These hand-wringing posts are more annoying than all the "Gary" and "final thoughts" posts combines.
Let me welcome you to Clemson football and suggest when you feel the urge to point out that FSU had a better recruiting class than we did, don't.
Now, here is the cue for the RAG to make a post about FSU rankings.

I agree! Its redundant . the recruiting rankings are assumptions about kids. Was anyone jumping around when Vic Beasley signed his letter? We take what we have... All the way to the natty

From 2003 to 2011, our record against FSU was 6-3. That is indeed beating them 2 out of every 3 games.

and in 2012 at Tally, man we had that game. Special teams allowing two huge run backs in the 4th gave the game away. And we should have beaten them in 2014, of course.

which was there indeed was a part of the series where we dominated them.
They obviously have dominated the series. But when they joined, we weren't particular good. We definitely were not recruiting on their level, which we are now.

... but IMHO, all who opine, post rants, and etc. on tnet IOT address OTHERS who have pretty much done the same is analagous to Islamic extremists who express disdain for modern technology by destroying computers, etc., and then subsequently post said actions on the internet utilizing smartphones.

coots. Because those aren't the facts historically. They have had EVERY advantage against us in our rivalry including recruiting (up until recently) and many, many years of having the game played in Columbia. As the "darling" school of the state of South Carolina, they have still failed miserably.
