Definitely a recognizable number of players that leave the program get into trouble and/or don't make major impacts on future teams. Seems the bads seeds get filtered even if their talents are missed.

He started on a National Championship team the next year that beat Clemson and kept his nose clean at UGA. Probably not a good example of your theory.

Keeping your nose clean at UGA is a bit like saying my dog doesn't get dirty because I gave him a bath. Just because someone else cleaned up his mess doesn't mean he didn't make one.

I’d actually like to see what he is charged with before I’d pass any kind of judgement. A “felony gun charge” in LA probably isn’t much.

It’s California. In the south you can lawfully carry a pistol and carry permits are recognized by other states.

Dabo did all that he could to point Derion in the right direction but had to finally give up on him when he continued to violate the rules. I personally thought Derion had a terrible game against LSU for us a few ago seemingly a little out of position most of the time. Seemed a little disoriented at times.
