Quarter, dime, nickel, penny?
If it's silver in color, I'll usually pick it up.

I finally was in the actual bank a couple weeks ago and the teller checked it and said she couldn't take it without both serial #s.
So I either have $100 or $0.

Took it to the service desk and they were able to determine through camera footage that it had fallen out of some distracted idiot's pocket, I ended up getting to keep it.
Why did I get to keep it??? The distracted idiot was None other than my husband. He and the kids had gone up to the room and I was a few min behind them and happened upon the wad that fell out of his pocket.

I was walking out of a grocery store and a mom and young girl were walking in. She was explaining to the girl that “only pick it up if it’s a dollar or more”.
I kinda felt bad for the child that she didn’t get to pickup a silver piece bc mom is too worried about Covid or some shiat like that

I’ll pick up anything and give it to the little one and tell her I found some money for her. The smile she gets on her face is worth it, even for a penny. Guess she will outgrow that eventually, but I’ll keep doing it until we get to that point.
