Question for Directv customers

Jun 12, 2012, 12:31 PM

Need an additional receiver and don't want to lease it through Directv so I am looking to buy one off ebay. I will need an access card from Directv to go with this receiver. Has anyone done this and do you know if Directv charges for the access card?

Used to be directv and I'm pretty sure they'll be happy to

give you the receiver and tack on $6/mo to your bill, or like $15 if you want HDTV.

I left them cuz of all the extree fees and went to ATT Uverse. My bill is less and my features are more.

Would recommend switching if offered in your area. ATT will pay your fee to break the nazi directv contract too.

obviously did not read my post. I do not want to lease a receiver and instead want to purchase one. However, in order to do this I will need an access card and was wondering if they will send me one free of charge or if there was a cost associated with it

Like I said, no matter if you buy a receiver or get one from
