I’m too lazy to look it up, but it seems like PJ would have shot his free throws since he was fouled before he got a tech and fouled out of the game. I’m sure it’s some rule pertaining to stoppage or dead ball fouls, but the logistics seemed strange

And to answer my own question, I guess we get the benefit of the foul shots, but PJ is no longer eligible to take them.

Let me put it this way. If the hole player was guilty of chicken winging Hall and Hall pushed the hole, the call would have gone thusly. Hall would have been called for a T and ejected. The holes would have been given the two free throws and the T free throws and the ball. Just saying.

I try REALLY HARD NOT to buy into any league and official’s bias, favoritism, partiality, conspiracy theory chit, but officiating such as this??? …… sigh….

With Tobacco Road I gave up on that thought in the 80s when they added the 3rd year of probation. Refs stick it to us when they can and Blue Heaven and Cameron get all the calls home and away.

I watched the play on super slo-mo and PJ Hall's elbow never touched the FSU player. The officials have super slo-mo, one frame at a time, so they had to see that Hall never touched the FSU player. BS call, poor officiating...
