QB Depth Chart for Next Year

In your opinion, do we have any incoming freshman that will push the backups for playing time next year, or will this be what we're looking at?
1. Watson 2. Schuessler 3. McCaskill

Yes. I think one of the two freshmen will play unless they staff believes NS can do it.

I think Israel will push Shuessler. But I also think Nick will hold down the 2nd spot and have us all wondering why he didn't see a little more playing time this year.

Schuessler= Stoudt
Israel will be Watson's back-up, remember that.

If shuessler is worse than stoudt then it's an open competition for the freshmen imo. I think Kelly Bryant or tucker israel has a chance to work their way up.

I'd like to see Bryant redshirt since he is the rawer talent

He has a big upside after Watson leaves. Schussler will probably start out as #2 but be replaced by Israel. imho

Bryant's style is more tailored to the Offense we run though. Isn't Tucker more of a Pro Style passer?

I can see Watson, Israel, Schuessler. Redshirt Bryant, bring him up when Watson is a junior and when Watson leaves, Bryant steps in .

He might be somewhat raw but he is a freak athletically. I've seen him play in person and think he's the next DW. He is more accurate on the short and intermediate throws than DW. DW is more accurate with the deep ball and his football knowledge is remarkable, but Kelly B. will be special.

If Nick is the backup to quite possibly one of the worse QBs we have had in recent history, I certainly hope that Bryant and Israel are both better than Cole. I love the competitive nature, the heart, the loyal aspect of Cole but I am putting my faith that these two QBs, and they will be here next month, so that should help as well.

This should be the pecking order unless injuries change it.
Watson K. Bryant Schussler redshirt = Tucker Israel

1. Watson 2. Israel 3. Bryant 4. Schuessler 5. Choice/Scott/Cain
I think we go with the freshman over Schuessler, mainly because we've seen the staff's reluctance to play him and the two freshman are more suited to run the hurry up spread. Ideally, one of them redshirts. Which one that will be I think depends on how they practice in the offseason, and I have a feeling Israel will edge out Bryant. And if we need to, we have plenty of options at wildcat QB.

In a perfect world both incoming freshman redshirt next year with Schuessler being the backup. Also come someone tell me how good Bryant is athletic wise? Comparible to Watson?
