Pump The Brakes

Oct 14, 2017, 9:43 AM

I know all of us Tiger fans can point fingers and ask questions as to what the hell happened. The bottom line is, Syracuse outplayed and out-coached us. The Cuse QB played the game of his life, Dabo said it perfectly in his post-game press conference. But if you win out, you're in the playoffs. Simple as that. NC State is and probably will be ranked once Clemson plays them. Take care of business against NC State and everyone else, 11-1 with 4 ranked wins throughout the season will be hard to keep out of the playoffs.

K. Bryant should never of played last night and that was obvious. I don't care if Dabo says he was 100% before the game, it was never smart to allow him to be out there coming off an injury with a bye week upcoming. Hunter Johnson should've started the game and definitely should've came in before Cooper and everybody in the world knows it. Although, when give the time, I was thoroughly impressed with Kellys throwing ability. A couple of his balls sailed on him, but there were a couple of throws that were tight spirals and were dimes.

The bigger question is, why can our defense playing soft coverage on third and long. I understand playing soft coverage and keeping the play in front of you but if you are playing soft and they continuously get the first down on third and long, why can you not man up and pressure the receivers? The whole secondary and LB core was exposed last night. That is my biggest take away from last night.

NC State will get stomped by Notre Dame the week

before we play them. If we beat them and that's a big "If" now it will mean little.

If we win out and Syracuse loses another. We basically just put the control in syracuses hands so stop with this win out and we’re fine garbage.

What are you even talking about? Clemson controls its own destiny by winning out the rest of the ACC. Heres Syracuses remaining schedule: @Miami, @FSU, Wake Forest, @Louisville and Boston College. They lose AT LEAST 2 possibly 3 of those games.

You’re a fool for assuming, the coaches underestimated cuse this week too and look what happened.

We are national champions, ranked number 2 with loads of talent all over the field and Syracuse made us look like garbage.

Why would you jump to the conclusion that Miami, FSU, Wake or Louisville will lose to them. Ignorant thinking after just losing to them.

You just said that Clemson has more talent. Then why didnt they win? Syracuse was underestimated. Point blank period. Underestimated by the players and underestimated by the coaches. A team that only has 1 4-star on the team should never even come close to competing with Clemson. It was a complete underestimation on all levels.

Are you arguing my point now? You’re the one assuming they will lose to “at least 2 if not 3” more games in the acc
