I personally have never made a biscuit but I have a story I’d like to share. In the 70’s I played in a bluegrass band along with an older guy we had met. Joe Ellis. A really fine fiddler. He used to tell us stories of his younger days, people and places. In the 50’s and 60’s there was a popular duo called Johnnie and Jack. Jack died in a car accident in ‘63 so Johnnie played on. One time Joe said he ran into Johnnie in a country store. He said “Hey Johnnie, what do you know”? “What do I know”? Said Johnnie. “I know a sack of flour makes a hell of a big biscuit”.

I’d like to see a biscuit like that.
