Prowl & Growl North Augusta

Just received email stating this event has been canceled. Does anyone know why? I’m really disappointed of this news. I was looking forward to possibly meeting GR.

These have become a joke, with the Charleston meeting being a perfect example. About 10 years ago, they were held on the Yorktown, but this year it was held at the local tech school on Rivers.

We used to buy a table, but quit after ‘19 after a few years at the convention center (I think it was the meeting in ‘17 when Dabo didn’t even show).

I do remember when they were at the Yorktown. Such an amazing venue. I can’t believe it’s held at Trident now.

I was thinking about going to the one in Greenville. Do you recommend going is it any fun?

Every one is different though. Different location, different food and stuff like that. When it was on the Yorktown it was awesome.

I was really hoping the mascot would be there. He wasn’t at the Charleston prowl and growl but I’ve seen photos where he has been at the others. *I had a daughter this year and she was 2 months old that’s why I was hoping the mascot would be there to get a photo of them together.

The few seconds you have with Dabo is awesome! You get a photo and Dabo is so personal and he chatted with us for a minute but than someone was like “sorry we’ve got to continue taking photos” which I understand. There’s a line and you’ve got to keep it moving.
I was disappointed the coaches couldn’t autograph stuff. It wouldn’t add that much time and it would be worth waiting in line for. I would rather get his autograph than a picture.

The food at Charleston was pizza. A slice of pepperoni and a slice of cheese. Would rather pay more and get better food. At least a bbq sandwich.

Is it worth going to? I think every three or four years but I’m going to stop going every year though.

Did you ever find an answer ? I don’t see anything online but was planning on attending . Haven’t been since it was at the fairgrounds :)

I was signed up and am very disappointed that the event will not be held. There was an email that was sent out not too long ago reminding people to sign up. I am wondering if they did not have enough people to purchase tickets. Dabo was not scheduled to be at the event. We were supposed to have Brad and Garrett but, no Dabo. I personally feel that Dabo should have been there as well.

I just did not research. IPTAY announced 7 Prowl and Growl events this Spring. Dabo was listed to appear at 6 of them. The lone one without Dabo was the one in North Augusta. Come on IPTAY. We deserve better than this. Do the correct thing and reschedule!!!!
