A&M has too much honor built in their program because of the military history. That selfless attitude is a major conflict with Deion’s personality and self promotion. He’s a great fit for FSU.

Deion's main thing is his ability to recruit and attract attention/money. Those are not things A&M needs help with.

They need a good strategic coach who can actually use the talent to his advantage.

I don't think Prime leaves Colorado until his sons leave. There's a loophole both of them and Travis Hunter can leverage to transfer wherever Prime goes, if he were to leave this season but I don't think it happens. If this were next season, I think it would be a done deal as long as the Buffs have a successful season.

I don't know who or what the "go big" plan is over there. They may throw all kinds of money at Lanning, Smart, Harbaugh and/or an NFL guy. My guess is they land on Lane Kiffin as a fall back. He's been vocal about not having resources at Ole Miss. While I hate the person, he's been a really good coach and 2nd tier recruiter. If A&M can grease the recruitment rails for him with their bagmen, the ceiling for what they could do would be pretty high.

I do think most of us will be shocked by who ends up there. Just b/c the amount of money that will be tossed around is going to shake loose somebody unexpected. If it's one of the already top tier guys, based on the situations most of them already have, something around $15m/yr is going to come up. It's really going to get nuts.
