I think this year it will be the Phillies and Braves racing for the NL east division, not the Mets and Braves.

This means Atlanta will likely avoid Philly in the first round. Where they’ve gotten us multiple times.

With Spencer Strider done for season, Max Fried is going to have to be the ace like he was during the World Series year.

I think the Braves will get to the NLCS against the Dodgers.

It’s going to be tough with them this year, with Shohei now there. Mookie Betts has been the best hitter in the league so far. I say Mookie wins MVP this year.

In my opinion, the Dodgers and Astros are the only other teams that can match with Atlanta’s lineup.

And there’s a very good chance those 2 teams will be the ones the Braves need to get through for a title.

Thinking we lose to LA in the NLCS. They’ve got 4 MVPs on their roster with Kershaw, Ohtani, Betts, and Freeman.

Especially without maybe a better postseason from Strider compared to his recent ones, it’s tough.

We have a big series with the Astros so let’s see how that goes. It’s so so early to really have any idea how this season will shake out. I’ll wait until after the all star break to really have a good gauge of the serious contenders.

The Braves don't seem to be as strong as last year. The pitching will be suspect since Strider is gone. I think they will need to score a lot of runs because of this and they have not done so in every game.

Agree. Hard to replicate the offense from last year and the pitching is going to be suspect. But, they are a better team than the one that won the World Series in 21 so if they get hot at the right time anything can happen.
