Ron Greene is a long time NC High School Football coach and Grandfather of Jay Guillermo. Ron passed away last Thursday and his memorial service is at the Burns,NC High School stadium at 7:30 today. Ron loved Clemson and his grandson Jay was a key member of our 2016 National Championship team. Ron was a mentor to many high school coaches and players.

sad to hear this. ron attended a couple meetings of our local clemson club. nice man. after jay had returned to the team from his troubles, it happened that coach caldwell was one of the guest speakers anf coach greene struggled to stand and made some very moving remarks about how much robbie had meant to jay and the family. RIP in peace friend.
