and no one else. That would even out the playing field since I expect the actual committee selected will be heavily slanted towards the SEC.

Yeah honestly besides the money/onfield success the SEC is behind all other conferences when it comes to power at the top. Face it low academics and probation don't put you at the top of business partners list. I would say the Pac, Big10, ACC, ND and Texas all have more players in the mix.
