Please let us loose the "even though"

Most of my posts are about how my grandkids view THE Rivalry. We are a mixed family or coots and Tigers. I am the family head and a loyal Tiger since my Dad's IPTAY number was in the first hundred.

I am 70 years old. I've enjoyed my lifetime dominating Carolina (I know should be USuc or USCeast, but when I was coming along we said simply Carolina; we knew we were better without calling names)but my grandkids from 6 to 12 have a different memory. Our tradition is melting away each year a child can't remember ever beating Carolina. Now we start each story with "Even though we lost to the coots, we won the (fill in the blanks). Or; "Even though we lost to the coots we beat 2 out of three SEC teams we played."

Don't care about baseball, basketball, ACC championships, or anything else if we have to start of by saying,"Even though-----). Please do something or we will loose the kids.

We have dominated Carolina in football, basketball not so much, shoot we havent even won yet in Chapel Hill.

They of whom you speak are South Carolina. That is it. Or Cox if the ladies in your mixed family will allow.

They have done nothing to deserve a one name moniker.

That you should teach the grandkids before you loose them!

Its not what we have done, but what we have done lately. I am seeing many more kids wearing Garnet than I have ever seen in the past. Used to, I saw 5 Clemson shirts or hats in Myrtle beach for every one Coot shirt of hat. The last two times I have gone down there, it seemed like I was in Cootville (Columbia).
