Parking issue

Just learned that 200 spots in lot 5 will be lost for Dabo’s new Tiger Walk project. Where are they going? I moved from 5 to McFadden 1 last year and learned that I need to check my points so I won’t get pushed out. When are they going to utilize the agricultural fields?

I don't have an answer for where the spots are going, but you definitely don't want to use the agricultural fields for parking. One, they are used to grow things, and two, if there is a heavy rain prior to a game you would never get cars out of there.

Ag field was always a great place to dove hunt growing up in

Clemson, until we got run out of the field because we were hunting during a funeral on Cemetary Hill! That ended the last of the great places to dove hunt. So we took up quail hunting out at Twin Lake. Life is good.

I live literally 3 miles from USF. Their administration just approved building a football stadium nearby the newly completed indoor football practice facility within the next 3 years. The problem is: There is little land for the new stadium and literally no where to park at all. Yes, there are a few hundred spaces near the baseball and soccer fields, but, the basketball parking is far away and nowhere nearly sufficient for the anticipated needs. Their only option will be to rent the lots of the local mall during game days and bus people to the stadium. Not really safe there at night on Fowler Avenue.

Ag fields should be left alone. Already too much concrete development around campus.***

Parking is becoming a donation nightmare

I have seen my lot go from a min donation 2 years ago of $3500 to $5000 last year and now $6500 this coming season. I get inflation but ####. People should look at lot 1 it is still $3500 which blows my mind.

...used to get us into Lot 4 - which was awesome.
Then Clemson needed to get in line with Title 9/getting woke, so they stuck a softball field in the middle of the parking lot....which was odd as I would more than assume that FB parking garnered far more money for the U than softball tickets ever did/will.....
Love the "Dabo-era" additions to the campus as well. Don't like the degradation of parking/game-day/tailgating experience.
Now - I stay at home and watch for free. It is what it is.

Why on earth would they put parking on the agricultural fields?
