paper used to be so pro Clemson. I open their site only to see the headline "Clemson punked by Vols again. Four star OL delivers the latest gut punch" below a huge pic of a Tennessee baseball player. That rag must be run by a bunch of coots now. lol.

There is no Greenville News anymore. The first two or three sections are nothing more than the USA Today paper. The remainder of the paper, including the sports page, is printed somewhere in North Carolina. The Greenville News exists in name only.

Absolutely correct. I quit them when they started the" early deadline" excuse on Sat. football weekends- therefore no coverage of Clemson games that started 3pm or later. They are not the only one doing that now- Sptbg, M Beach Sun to name two more. Sorry is as Sorry does.

These coots where given a game after a 9 year drought by one point and they are attacking with their only chance. They know it will be years and years before their next win against us.
The gap is measured in years & wins, it’s more than embarrassing, laugh at these coots because we know it’s back to heartbreak for them.
They’ll continue to try to keep their neck above .500 as always, the only thing above water is the end of their beak!
They are the scum of the SEC, writing articles & trying to claim they recruit with us is so laughable.
We are on the mountain at the top of Mt. Everest and they made it to a hill outside Columbia trying to claim they’re close….lol

The seeds we sow are the seeds that grow. Dabo sowed these seeds through love, patience & loyalty believing he would eventually have the light go on & choose to be great at his craft.
It will pay off for Clemson & the program because kids love a coach who they can trust to stand with them no matter what.

Well, he stood by a player, for sure. Was that worth sacrificing the rest of the team's work for one guy who just couldn't seem to consistently get it done? I love Dabo and his loyalty, but his stubbornness to hang on to what wasn't working hurt us. It sure gave the coots a burst of confidence, though.
I do think good will come of it, though via a new QB and, even more importantly, with a new OC.

You know it's a bunch of junk when they try to claim Braylon Staley or however you spell as a UT win over Clemson when his Clemson recruitment was over after the big June visit and Clemson got commitments from guys higher on their board or at least one of them was. Plus Amick wasn't deciding between Clemson and UT. Amick wasn't coming back so it was UT against probably South Carolina and Florida among others probably. So not sure why this joke paper is trying to spin these as Clemson loses. You want to count Satterwhite fine but the former 2 is laughable at the very least. I don't know if they are coots but they darn sure aren't very smart.

The Island Packet down in Hilton Head is the same. It is usually a Dawn Staley slobber-fest. Typically only mention Clemson when it's something negative. Started reading it online when the Murdaugh thing blew up. They had ENDLESS coverage of the Murdaugh murder trial. They covered nearly every angle but somehow never once managed to mention that Murdaugh played football for the Gamecocks. The "media" most everywhere is an overwhelmingly agenda-driven leftist-leaning cesspool.
