Other than giving the most obvious answer

Which for most would be Deshaun, who do y'all feel is the most difficult player to replace from last year's team? Deshaun was great, no doubt, but I feel like we're loaded at QB and should be fine. So who you got Williams, Artavis, Gallman, Leggett. I feel like with the talent and experience we have at WR their won't be a major drop off there. Looks like we are very deep at the RB position so I'm not overly concerned there. But who replaced Leggett. To me he is the biggest loss from last year's team. He's the one who always seemed to come up with the biggest catches in the biggest games. Do we have anyone that will replace what he brought.

Sorry, not a player I know, but we will miss him big time.
Player, maybe Boulware, primarily for his heart and leadership.we probably have the talent to replace him as a player, but we will see about as a leader.

Jordan Leggett. We don't have a weapon like him on the team right now.

Milan has looked solid so far

I'd bet he is more athletic than Leggett. Certainly looked faster going down the sideline.

In my view everything you said is 180 degrees out of phase with reality. Milan is not as quick or athletic. I hope he gets there, but the guy I saw on Saturday could not have made the clutch catches that Leggett made down the stretch in our championship drive, handstanding into the end zone to seal the deal against FSU or extending to catch a ball at the edge of his fingertips like Leggett did on the final scoring drive against bama. Do you really think Milan can do that stuff at this point?
Again, I hope Milan (or somebody) gets there for us at TE, but right now we don't have that guy.

Neither could Jordan when he was a sophomore

Richard is young and getting his first real PT, give him some time. And look for Shadell Bell to get time more and more is passing situations. I kept reading some folks saying Milan reminded them of Brandon Ford, but he's 25lbs bigger than Ford was. Bell will emerge as the season goes on as that Ford type weapon. Former WR with ball skills playing at 225-230

And again, I'm not slamming Milan. Give him time and let's see. He's got the tools. But he's not a straight up replacement for Jordan Leggett right now. That's ok, we have a lot of weapons. I suspect we will see a more explosive run game this year.

Jadar Johnson

Jadar was always our safety net. He was there to bat down passes to win games. Make clutch interceptions. He was very undervalued last season. I like Smith, but he has been caught out of position far too many times. OJ Howard showed that. And then Muse and Simmons are freaks. But I guarantee you that somebody will use their aggressiveness against them and sneak somebody downfield behind them. With our DL and LBs, we should absolutely be able to keep our safeties back a little.

Mike Williams - because of his ability to catch anything within 6' of him. We may have someone step up and replace him, but it will be hard to do from all respects. Cain is faster and can catch the deep ball, but can he make the back-shoulder and come-back catches that Mike was so good at making? Dunno yet.
I don't think it's Jordan Leggett even though he was very good over the middle on slant routes. I think Milan Richard will bring better blocking abilities and also be a good (but different type of) receiver. Milan will be the out-route, in-the-flat receiver that we haven't had at the TE position in a while who can make serious yards after the catch. He should be very good on skinny post and wheel routes. He'll also strike fear into any safety who thinks he can make an easy tackle on Milan.
Overall, from what I saw on Saturday, I'm not worried about any position except the secondary - and not necessarily worried about that - just didn't see them have to defend anything, so I didn't get a sense of their abilities.
We'll be fine.

Overton and/or Higgins ought to be able to take Williams

place. I hope they were hidding Overton Sat. as he was not targeted as much as the thinner Higgins.

love our running backs, but can they block as well as Gallman. I think I agree with many of you, Mike Williams. my 2 cents.
