Very refreshing to see him tote the rock even though it was vs. Ga St.

Here's to him lighting up UCS.

I think Gallman has played really well, and I think we have now 3 very capable backs with Dye , Gallman and an injured Choice.

Dye looks like a Race Horse ! I enjoyed seeing him run the ball Saturday. Hope he has his injury bug behind him and does well for himself !

He and shoulders better than anyone else imo

Gallman is decent but gets knocked back on every hit. No push. Dye bulldozes and has decent speed. He seems to find holes better too.

The two things that I noticed about Dye are the two things that coaches always talk about. Be patient and wait for the hole to develop and then get what you are given. It seems like most young backs are swinging for the fence and hitting the line too fast only to get tackled at the line. Wait for your blocks and grab 3-4 yards. If you keep doing that, things will open up for 10-20 yards or even the big one. I was impressed with Dye. Not to say that Gallamn isn't good too, I just think Dye is more of a classic running back.

Wrangler: you make a great point. When he picks the hole , be it small or whatever, looks to me kie he has been taught to explode thru it.

CALLING GALLMAN A DECENT BACK IS THROWING HIM UNDER THE BUS.WHERE WOULD WE BE WITHOUT GALLMAN ALL YEAR.HOWEVER, I THINK WE HAVE A GOOD COMBINATION IN GALLMAN AND DYE.THEY ARE BOTH GOOD.

Tiger: I agree. How about putting them in a 2 back set for a couple of designed plays. For example. QB under center. Takes snap and turns around first back goes through, fake handoff to him, second back through he gets the ball Key to the play is to lineup in an UNbalanced line formation. Fake is to back going to strong side, ball given to back going to weak side. Called The Scissors. Works like magic.
