Reported just now on ESPN. The dominoes continue to fall. Pac-12 is toast.

and they would still exist. Maybe limping along but would still be there. So, how do contracts with the Rose Bowl and ESPN go? Will that allow ESPN to re-negotiate with the ACC to give more money?

ESPN already has multiple bloated media rights contracts and a shrinking customer base based on cord cutters. If they saved money somewhere else, why would they be willing to give it to the ACC?

Man information changes quickly. Had an ESPN alert earlier that Oregon was staying put. 4-5 hours later they are headed to the Big 18.

David Hood was right in his earlier inclination. He hinted at it in his article today just before this news broke. Seems like no conferences are safe anymore, except for the B1G, SEC, and all of us unhappy hostages of the ACC. Unless the lawyers can do some “lawyerly things” (quoting David Hood) to get Clemson/FSU out of our GOR and leave the ACC behind to truly become what it has already been for decades (and what Clemson has never been): just another basketball school conference.
