is that I won't feel good about it unless we beat them by at least 30. If we kinda puff long and win only 31-14 or something I will not feel satisfied. This must be a bloodbath

Like Dabo said, the only thing that really matters is we end up with at least 1 point more than them....a win is a win and = 12 -0....Go Tigers!!!!

While I would REALLY LIKE to see a 58-0 type victory, I gotta say seeing the play of our young guys/backups and their good play because they got in during early games - eschewing blowouts (yes, vocabulary courtesy of my awesome Clemson education) - I would be good with a 17 point (or less) victory while giving guys game experience.

If we see a deep team like bamer, we're gonna need to sub and keep fresh guys in the game.

It's not that winning by that much wouldn't do it for me personally, it's just I know how Coots are.

They would use the fact that we only beat them by 14 to reinforce (in their minds) the strength of the SEC. The result of the season would be something like "well, we finished 3-9, but our 4th closest loss was against the #1 ACC team, thus confirming that the ACC is weak and Clemson should have never been there in the first place."

You're absolutely right though. Any mercy at all just gives them room to squawk. I want things to return the way they were in the Fall of 2005, where Coots wouldn't even look at you and were embarrassed to talk about football around you because you're a Clemson fan.
