God I hope not. Everyone on here was talking about how he had said he didn't want to move until his girls had gone through high school...I hope that's accurate. With what we're paying him, whoever comes after him would have to have pretty deep pockets. Arkansas, Auburn could do it...but who else will be looking?

not all coordinators make great head coaches..and folks said a year ago that he was nothing but a high school coach, why would he be ready for being a head coach?

he was a heck of one at the HS ranks.

Yeah, but in HS he can keep his hands all over the offense

In college that just won't fly. I've always thought if he wanted a HC job, he better have a good protege in mind for an OC, one that shares his mind.

good point, but Jimbo, Paul Johnson, Spurrier, and several others do it.

I do not think he will get a high major HC offer until he has been a coordinator at least 5 years.

as far as a smaller program scooping him up as a head coach, that is why we pay him 1.3 million.

Well I talked to him a few weeks ago at a rec football game. I told him I sure was glad he was here and he said he would be for a long time . I hope he meant it. He seems like a very genuine and honest man. We were lucky to get him.

I believe we are safe this year. We are not burning up the patch with our Offense this year like we did last year, but he will get offers in due time. He is that good.
