if we win out, our BCS fate might all depend where Louisiana Tech ends up. If they finish in the top 16 in the BCS standings, they get the nod over any non conference champion. This will be a problem if they dont lose and the teams 13-19 lose the next 2 weeks. Im thinking the Sugar will be their destination.

GunTotnTiger clearly knows nothing about the BCS. Yes, we do want Louisiana Tech to lose. If they finish top 16 and are ahead of the Big Ten or Big East winner, they'll be an auto-bid.

right. Big East and Big 10 are out of it as far as having 2 teams. Pac 10 has a chance w/ Stanford and Oregon St along w/ Oregon. Big 12 could be a snag w/oklahoma and K State. SEC will always have 2. What else am I missing?

gets by NC State, the Tigers may be going to the Sugar Bowl even with if they lose to South Carolina. The guy on the show, Brady, a FLorida man, said that obviously the Sugar Bowl would rather have an 11-1 Clemson, but may take them at 10-2 because there just aren't that many at-large possibilities out there with conferences limited to two teams.

Yeah - Bama screwed the entire BCS up by losing. The SEC would have had a possible FOUR teams in BCS bowls (2 in the NCG and 2 in at-large BCS bowls), and now will only have TWO. I guess they forgot to tell TAM they were supposed to lose to Bama so the SEC could win yet another NC. TAM may be in the dog house for years because of their stupidity.
