One of The surprises from this season

Dec 11, 2014, 4:18 PM

Was just how dominant Gary Peters was this year. He was ok last year and missed a few opportunities but didn't really stand out. This year I think if we didn't have him we have a couple more L's on the board. He is fun to watch compete and I will enjoy seeing lock it down against the Sooners.. Go Tigers! #noflyzone

I thought Peters, Alexander, Kearse, Smith, etc.

played as a unit as well or better than our best backfields in the last 15 years or so (the only comparable ones that come to mind were the Miller-Hill team(s) and the '08 team that had several NFL guys in it--Chancellor, Gilchrist, Sensabaugh, Hamlin, McDaniel, Clemmons, Butler, Maxwell.

They all played better than I anticipated but you're right, never would've guessed Peters would be All-ACC this Summer!

Peters started looking good in the bowl game with LSU. He shut down the slant and imo was the one of the MVPs of the game.

I agree

Lights out, and healthy the whole season. He will get drafted for sure!
