One more opinion about UNCheat's public reprimand

Some posters have suggested that we jump to another conference. At least one poster suggested that we should give Swofford his walking papers and then jump to another conference.

My suggestion for your consideration is to throw Swofford out, then stay in the ACC and help it become a powerful, well-respected, dominant conference. That task should be more easily accomplished if we had an accomplished commissioner instead of a predjudiced sleazeball like Swofford.

despite the crap that's happened at UNC and Miami lately (GT too for that matter). Those situations deserve punishment and will get it (whether it's enough or not is for a different discussion).

Fact is though the ACC is still filled with VERY quality academics, and PLENTY enough quality athletics to go around. It's not what the SEC is in football, but the SEC has been on top of football for a while (and South Carolina has nothing to do with that either, haha).

What happened under Butch Davis and the Athletic Department at UNC is bad obviously, and I know most of us don't like UNC (for several reasons), and I'm one of them I guess. It's still a really good University though when you look at the big picture. That goes for pretty much all ACC schools.

conference ever left on job for another job due to a few bad employees? Then at their new job they found that have bad co workers there, too.

Leaving is not the answer.

Use the proper channels and quite crying already. Geez
