was whenever he got shelled. Once he perfected the split, he was untouchable. The ball has got to MOVE to be effective. For reference see: Maddux, Greg - Baseball Surgeon.

Tyler is a good arm, just never developed an out pitch. Max effort kid that has a hard time spotting up pitches

Olenchuck is an athlete and has a strong arm but has never been able to develop accuracy and control.

Oly has good stuff…his issue is he leaves literally EVERYTHING out of over the plate. Location is his #1…90+ up and out over the plate will get licked…at any level of baseball.
