granted, it's coming from MSU so take it with a grain of salt but still interesting to see what comes of this:

What has gone down at Mississippi is very suspicious. They haven't won anything of significance since their last conference title in 1962. 53 years, people. Out of nowhere star players start committing left and right. We know what happened. Knemdiche seemed a solid lock to Clemson until his mom flew in from Africa and changed his son's mind for him over a weekend trip at Ole Miss.
By the way, what is with all these teams claiming national championships all willy-nilly? Ole Miss claims 3 where the NCAA recognizes one, and of those 3 years they never finished at #1 in either poll. Must have taken a page from Alabama and their 11 self-proclaimed titles.

You realize the same could be said about Clemson, right?
You signed four 5-star players after going 6-7. Seems like Freeze is similar to Dabo and a relentless recruiter.

After numerous winning season. They had 50+ years of suck. If we're making comparisons, I'd say they were more like SC than Clemson. How did you guys get Lattiomore and Cloney to sign after all those years of suck?
No one really questions why players come to Clemson. ESPN just rolls up with the Gameday crew, show off the campus and fans and talk about how great a place it is. Recruits feel the same.

Well you're flatout wrong with that comparison. For starters Dabo Swinney had been heavily recruiting that class since they were freshmen in HS. Ole Miss magically made it on to a lot of recruits radar last minute. Also Clemson had played for the ACC the year before 6-7 and it was a big selling point that the recruits of that class would play early and often. Another key difference is Clemson has been putting out talent into the NFL for years before even the Swinney era, can ole Miss claim this?
