Okay, an easy one, lol. Top 10 WRs (updated) since 1970:

Jan 30, 2017, 1:28 PM

1. Sammy
2. Nuk
3. Mike Williams
4. Jerry Butler
5. Terry Smith
6. Perry Tuttle
7. Rod Gardner
8. Artavis Scott
9. Aaron Kelly
10. Derrick Hamilton

Any of the top 4 could arguably be #1.

You forgot this:

;)

Currie and Jacoby Ford may have been 11 and 12 vying with Chansi Stuckey and Antwuan Wyatt.

We have had some great ones. I think I would put Jacoby Ford in there as well. He was overshadowed by CJ Spiller at the time but he was a big part of our offense then. Problem is, who would I take off the list? Maybe have him tied for 10th?

GO TIGERS!!!

A HUGE asterisk .... MVP WR Hunter Renfro. Yes really ...***

Too early. He's got two more years. Maybe just one more.

Same with DC.

1. Mike Williams- the catches he makes are way too impressive for him not to be #1
2. Nuk
3. Sammy
4. Perry Tuttle
5. Gardner
6. Aaron Kelly
7. Artavis Scott
8. Jerry Butler
9. Derrick Hamilton
10. Hunter WINFROW- yes I know I spelled it differently. But come on walk on that catches game winner in a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME has to be on this list.

Just missing the list:
Airese Currie
Chansi Stuckey
Jacoby Ford
Tyler Grisham

Potential to make this list before they leave Clemson:
Deon Cain
Tee Higgins

Could also make a case for Dwight Clark. He played WR at Clemson prior to being moved to TE in the NFL.

GO TIGERS!!!

Played WR in NFL. Only caught 30 passes in his Clemson

I stand corrected on the NFL position. I guess I always just assumed he played TE for some reason. As for his numbers at Clemson, that was in an era when Clemson didn't throw the ball very much. I would still think one would consider him among the great receivers to come through Clemson even if the bulk of his success was in the NFL (506 rec, 6750 yds, 2 Super Bowl Rings).

I like this list. With respect to Sammy, I put Nuk over him as a true WR, and MW7 over them both. And to leave of Hunter after two National Championship games, and multiple TDS in both games would be a travesty.

the one thing about mike williams that stands out in my mind is that he is a game changer. and what i mean by that is it did not matter who was put on him, nor how many were put on him, he was coming down with the ball. if we don't lose him last yr, we are back to back national champions.

oh, and btw, jerry butler was the man.

I for one am glad you are stopping. You are one of the most ignorant posters ever. You obviously think very highly of your own opinion, unlike the rest of us - RockHillTiger
