This seems insane but it's very possible, and likely justified as their SOS is so bad this year. Can't imagine how frustrating that is for their fans.

Tell them to schedule somebody in their non-conference schedule

Last season they had several close wins and they have already started that trend this year.

They have not played a top 10 team in that time

Best team last year was UM and they got beat by scar. This year NW was the best team and they should have lost that one.

They have a schedule that rivals Boise St when Boise St was winning all those games.
