O Max to the transfer portal,

That’s an absolutely devastating loss, if it’s playing time related I really don’t get it. He didn’t get a lot of playing time last year but we had a Senior and a Junior at his position. Sometimes I don’t understand what these young guys expect.

Maybe he wants to be closer to home?.....

He certainly came from farther than most.
Sometimes guys get somewhere far away and realize it’s too far from home.
I suppose we’ll find out if that is the case when we hear his destination....now that I say that he’ll go somewhere further away.
Was looking forward to him getting more PT.
The loss of athleticism with him and Newman (at least last season’s version of Newman) combined with losing Simms & Trapp....it’s certainly going to look different out there.

Don't think it has anything to do with playing time or distance , just like when changing coaches think kid needs a change of scenery and a new program. I wish him well .

I don't think distance from home is the issue...

Prior to Clemson he transferred from a school in Quebec to a school in Illinois (Lake Forest Academy) before finish-up high school at the NBA Academy-Latin America in Mexico City.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.
