Notre Dame injuries??

Dec 14, 2020, 8:05 PM

Didn’t I see they’ve had some injuries since we played them? What’s the word on those out or injured on their side?

Their starting center is out for the season with a foot injury. That could be good news for Tyler Davis.

Jarrett Patterson, who would have been 1st team All ACC center and maybe an All-American, was lost for the year the week after.

One of the Ademidola brothers on the DL was hurt around then too but may be back. The backup center,

Zeke Correll, sprained his ankle against UNC, but should be back practicing this week.

The starting right guard, Tommy Kraemer, had an appendix procedure before UNC, but played a handful of snaps on senior day against Syracuse.

Kevin Austin, our clear cut best receiver, broke his foot in camp, then again against FSU and is out.

Braden Lenzy, our #2 receiver, struggled with hamstring issues all year and has barely played. He did get in a little the last two games and has some serious wheels. Don’t know how much we will involve him this week because it felt like he disrupted the flow of things against Syracuse.

On a more positive note, Daelin Hayes and Ade Ogundeji have been playing possessed at DE since the first Clemson game. Hayes has finally played up to his 5* ranking and Ade has been moved up to a first round projection on a couple of sources. That would give us a first rounder at each level of the defense (Ade, Jeremiah Owuso Karamoah, and Kyle Hamilton).

Going in with low expectations for this weekend but just excited to see another good game hopefully

I’m looking for another exciting game.
Good luck.
