Did FSU and Clemson not have enough pull with the $$$$ they bring in with football to work in a provision for a yearly matchup with the Irish, instead of farming out the new cash cow to other chump schools like UNC, Puke, Wake, etc?? Also how will this effect scheduling with the mandatory 9 game conf schedule already in place..

1. how does ND schedule their 5 games. i bet they want permanent pairing w/ BC & Pitt, and maybe one other that leaves less games to rotate.

2. does the ND football game count in ACC standings for other teams?

3. how is the money shared. I bet ND is keeping their tv contract for home games, but will they get a share of the ACC package too? if so, the ACC is getting hosed.

Their schedule won't change much. They already have 4 ACC teams scheduled. I'm not sure I understand this move by the ACC. Maybe if they add another they will join in Football also.
