Which makes me wonder about the ship..... because the first sign of problems may be the rats running for the exit.

This is a funny article from Kayla, but not surprising in tone.

1. "The wave of lawmakers across chambers and parties announcing they intend to leave Congress comes at a time of breathtaking dysfunction on Capitol Hill, primarily instigated by House Republicans."

- Wow, not just dysfunction, but "breathtaking" dysfunction. It is a shame that "function" is now defined as everyone in the party walking in lock-step. Function would be defined as a representative from backwoods Kentucky going along with a party leader from San Fran; on EVERY SINGLE ISSSUE. The House Republicans ousted a the speaker based upon the rules that the party set forth, and selected a new one under those rules as well; and that is "dysfunction". Wow, again.

2. "Right-wing members have rejected any spending legislation that could become law"

- Good. Every single spending bill has INCREASED spending. They should be rejected by anyone with common sense, and anyone with the desire to help America.

3. "As lawmakers consider their futures in Congress, they are weighing the personal sacrifice required to be away from loved ones for much of the year against the potential to legislate and advance their political and policy agendas. In this chaotic and bitter environment, many are deciding the trade-off is unappealing."

- Good point. Why in this day and age are reps still in D.C.? Every congressman and senator should live in their districts. This should be a requirement.

4. “Right now, Washington, D.C., is broken; it is hard to get anything done,”

- That is by the design of the founders. IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE HARD TO PASS A FKN BILL, YOU GD IDIOTS. We could not pass any laws for 100 years, and still have thousands of laws too many.

Anyway. I could go on forever on this stupid article, but my dog wants to play. But in summary: reps term limiting themselves is good for America, bills should be hard as ### to get passed, reps should move from D.C. and live in their districts away from the chaos and special interest.

What people now call "dysfunction" was the intent of the founders. Function is not uni-party rule with no accountability.

Thanks, and remember to vote KeoweeIndians for Senate.
