The fun is in the winning?

Jan 2, 2018, 10:45 AM

Just honest opinions. I watch all of the VLOGS on youtube and I see our team having fun, eating like savages at some barbecue joint (I get the shats every time I eat barbecue)is this truly sound preparation for a bowl a game. I understand that Alabama took the "no fun" approach business etc. So as a fan what would you rather see, kids enjoying the experience or kids winning a football game at the cost of the experience. All I heard all week was Bama is uptight not having fun, if that was bama uptight last night dont want to see those guys loose. So my question is (is the fun in winning or is the fun in enjoying the experience)

prep was in favor of Bama. More "want to" from the opening kick. Never could get it flipped.

The fun is getting to the playoff in an off year

.No one thought we'd be here when the season started. 11-2 non division winner, non ACC Champ ,with Win in the OB over a BIG 10 Team and people are slobbering over next year, but somehow a 12-2 Division winner,ACC Champ with a 3rd consecutive playoff appearance and the whoa is me crowd ,that's been missing all season are crying like little boys.

Clemson's done a lot of winning, the winningest class...

in Clemson history, including 3 conference titles, 2 national title appearances, 3 playoff appearances and 1 national title.

That's a lot of fun.

Not bad for a rebuilding year. I can remember the Tommy West days.

Yes. Let’s rob a once in a lifetime experience from college kids who give their all to the university for their athletics. No more being loose and enjoying the experience.

I’d rather the kids enjoy their experience than act like they aren’t allowed to enjoy it.
