I think Pringles' original intention was to make tennis balls. But, on the day the rubber was supposed to arrive, a truckload of potatoes showed up. And Pringles is a laid-back company, they said, "eff it, cut 'em up!"

Pork and beans suck now days. Without adding a dab of mayo they are intolerable to me. I've never tried them warm, that sounds nasty.

cold? or eating them at all...?

i think, that if i were lost in the woods for a time just short of the length of time a portly human could go before starving, and I came upon a covered stockpile of canned pork & beans and an un-opened can opener, I'd still leave my first can out in the sun for a good hour or two to get the contents up to a civilized temperature before eating.

The reason I hate the beenie weenie is that the time I was given them then beans were hot and the dogs were cold. I don't enjoy any other beans cold.

Unless you load them up with bacon and stick them in the oven for an hour and a half. But that's called baked beans, not pork and beans.

and put them in a bowl. Since I'm not a pirate on the high seas, nor a cowboy on the open range, I'm very rarely without basic kitchenware handy.

Beanee Weenees, SpaghettiOs, and Chef Boyardee Ravioli...straight out thedamn can. Heating any of those three RUINS them completely. And, for the record, those three are regular staples in my pantry. One of those three is going to get consumed COLD out of the can around once a month, on average.

$6 amirite?
As a kid I went to Bill's store in Hickory Grove (Gaddy Wholesale) and got a Family Sized can of SpaghettiO's with Meatballs and would eat that for lunch with a Flinstone Push-up.
