Spiller was a generational type player. He stepped in as a freshman and was electric from the get go...think GT game.
Feaster has been surrounded by better talent and until he gets a lot of playing time, we really don't know anything.
Comparing him to one of the Top 10 players all time at Clemson is a stretch at this point.

The tools are there for Feaster. Imagine Spiller with this current arsenal of talent.

Favorite scene was Jacoby Ford accelerating past CJ to pick up the last block before they enter the end zone...Those were 2 very fast dudes...Wish they had better NFL careers...

If CJ would have fell into a situation like DW4 has done, CJ's NFL career would have been off the charts just like Nuk's is, and what DW4's will be. The way the NFL draft is set up with worst teams pick first, it has ruined many careers of players that would have been all that with better teams. NFL should be a lottery type thing where every team has the same chance of getting the top picks. And if a $$$-cap would be put on every FB player position, and not on the team as a whole, it would give all team that does their home work, and has a great couching staff the chance to be a top NFL team. And one or two teams wouldn't be at the top most of the time.

I can assure you, the comparisons were before he ever committed and was ever given the opportunity to wear #28. The comparisons were unfair...people WANTED another Spiller so bad that they projected his likeness on Feaster. They set themselves up for disappointment if he fails to deliver.

We have nothing to compare at this point. When Spiller arrived at Clemson he was the best talent on the roster. That's not the case with Feaster. Feaster could very well end up with a comparable Clemson career, but he hasn't had his time to shine yet. He has the tools to be a stud. I think if he is going to be like CJ he needs to bulk up some. That return Spiller made against Maryland when they had him almost to the ground and he got loose, turned on the jets, and took it to the zone. Extremely powerful legs. Feaster just wont have to carry the load CJ did. Hopefully he can bring us that feared return game back.

Yes CJ stepped on campus ready to ball. Feaster has a lot to accomplish to be in the same sentence.

Purely due to him wanting to wear 28, it's fair to compare.

Just like Watson and #4. Fuller has to wear a Watson patch on his dress shirts now.
Feaster brought it on himself by asking for the number.
