Would Clemson be ranked in top 4 in Ole Miss place? No you say? Why not? Clemson would have lost to one team #12 at the time and #11 now. Ole Miss lost to #24 LSU.

We will never know...and I can never forgive CJ Davidson for that fumble.

Really... the fumble is the singular event you blame that loss on? not the missed FG's, not the horrible throw by Cole in the endzone, not the coaches for not starting DW etc....

I forgive him but yes after all the crap in this game the CJ fumble lost it . Had first and goal with less than 2 min to play. All we had to do was run the ball 3 more times and if not a TD, kick a chip shot for the win. The Tigers would be in the drivers seat for sure.

Because it would have been a first down inside the 10 and we had the momentum. I would like to think we run it in or make a chip shot...but we will never know because well...

I think worse than that - the biggest thing killing us is UGA losing to the gaycocks. Had they won that game, everything would be more explainable. But the inexplicable loss to that dumpster fire leaves serious questions on Georgia, and transitively, on us.

And we'd unfortunately still be without a quality enough win to crack the top 10. Now if FSU was in the SEC..... We'd prob be no. 1 right now.
