ND ranks first in the nation in blocked punts. We had 2 weeks to prepare and they block the first friggen time we punt. Unbelievable

If you watch the replay that about sums it up. Not sure what in the world Ruke was doing.

You have one job at that moment. Don’t let anyone rush up the middle.

Ruke, for whatever reason, simply didn't block the ND rusher who came straight up the middle. In fact, he barely touched him. The blocked punt had nothing to do with alignment or scheme. It was entirely the result of one player simply not doing his job.
