Nike Contract

Was reading an older thread about our contract with Nike and how it's the lowest in D-I in terms of money.

Anybody know when this deal is set to expire?

Most contracts of this nature are typically ten (10) year deals.

Although the Close family lean towards Columbia, maybe Clemson could talk them into getting into athletic clothing.

We could be the team for True Timber like Oregon is for Nike and Maryland is for Under Armor.

Our NIKE contrat is low because of baseball

We have contracts with Russell and New Era. I think if they were to 100% with NIKE, we would see a significant increase in the amount of money that we receive annually from them. I understand Jack wanting to be loyal, but I also know that NIKE takes care of the programs that use them.

Although I like Nike products, I wish Clemson would create it's own brand so they weren't indirectly supporting the University of Oregon.

It seems like that would be a good projects for some design students as well as giving students that were interested in athletics some real world experience.
