Next seasons Offense will be fire

Mafah and Shipley both JRs I think both come back for hopes at a natty. WR you have Williams,Brown,Stellato, Cole Turner back from injury. Also hope Randall improves he’s a big WR target. TE you have sage Ennis and Briningstool if he returns. You got newcomers coming in Bryant Wesco who I think will stretch the field and take the top off the defense. I’m sure I’m missing some playmakers. But with a improved OL and Cade Klubnik growth from this year he will be surrounded by a very talented team weapons all over the field Cade Klubnik could very well be a heisman candidate next season with the #s he may put up next season. This offense may dang well be close to unstoppable. This year was needed for growth next season Clemson returns to the playoffs!

One if not both RBs are gone. GT was still getting tons of push into our OL, need an upgrade there, and Wesco might be amazing but tough stop to rely on another True Fr to step in and be one of our meaningful starters. I have hope that there will be an improved product, but need some work/help! UGA starting the season doesn’t leave much room for error!

We will have transfers in that group you named but we will easily replace them.

One of Mafah or Shipley or both will portal.

One of Stellato or Randall or both will portal.

IF, and that's a big IF, we use those spots to go grab an OL and WR from the portal the offense should be much improved next season. It's also assuming Riley sticks around.

We also need to make changes among the offensive field position coaches.

Not disagreeing at all, but would like to hear your reasoning about the transfer-outs.

I would've guessed 1-2 RBs leave, maybe even 3 of them, but was surprised to see both Mafah and Shipley written. Seems like an either/or situation. (7 scholarships)

Same with receivers, why do you think Stellato would leave? Randall makes sense. (11 scholarships)

I definitely think some of the older OL hit without much playing time hit the road. (15ish scholarships)

Tight end room will be awfully crowded as well with Bentancur joining. (6 scholarships)

I think if Ship stays then Phil definitely portals out. Rumor is Phil was out the door last year and was convinced to stay with a lucrative NIL deal.

I could see Ship leaving because I truly don't think he meshes well with CJ and seeking a better line to run behind for his final interview for the NFL. I also get the feeling that he and Cade don't mesh well for whatever reason.

I could see Phil portalling out due to the line as well and seeking a better line to show case his talents. I'm not saying both will portal out but I think 1 definitely does and I wouldn't be surprised if it's not both.

I think both Stellato and Randall could see the writing on the wall with young talent coming up the ranks in Hanafin, Turner coming back from injury, Wesco coming in and especially if Collins returns.

I could see Randall transferring out. Stellato is a wildcard that I feel like stays one more year (he's got a covid year he can use if next year were not to pan out).

Between Phil and Ship, I feel like Ship transfers out. Almost seems like what happened at the end with Spiller and Davis - Spiller took over and that was it. Granted, Davis was a SR but if the TP were around and he was in the same class as Spiller, I think he would've TPd out.

Of course, they could ALL transfer out. It's gonna be another offseason to watch.

Don't agree about Stellato. After Tigers fed, housed and nurtured him for 3 years of his injuries, I would expect some loyalty. Also He seem to be doing well.

if the right changes are made then we can return to "elite" on offense.........if not, it'll be what we've seen the last 3 years.

I don't think we are going to go from dumpster fire to 'fire'

in one year. There have been some encouraging signs in the last two weeks, but this is still a far cry from being a good offense. The OL needs major work and probably a new position coach, Cade needs to get a lot better, and we need 1 or 2 more really good WRs. Maybe Wesco will be that, but that's a lot to ask of a true FR.

The right mix of coaching, impact freshman, and impact transfers can change a dumpster fire offense into a fire 🔥 offense literally overnight. It’s not 2018 anymore.
