Next season....

Long time tiger fan often read the board but hardly ever get into discussions. I was wondering who do we go with at qb next season. Obviously I know it's early and we don't know but who do u think? Bryant, Cooper, Israel Obviously stacked at that position. Also thoughts on if Israel ends up transferring.

Israel will not be transferring, he really loves Clemson, My opinion the QB next year will not be Bryant, could be Cooper Hunter Johnson or Chase Brice.

IF Israel or any other of those mentioned is thinking of transferring before spring ball even begins, they should not have been here to begin with. I would bet heavily that Mr. Israel is expecting to be the starting quarterback in 2017 and hopefully will perform at a high level during the upcoming drills and earn the spot. I can say the same for the others involved. Lets stop the transferring crap before it begins!!!!!

My guess is Cooper. From what I hear he has the talent and has a year in the program. Hunter Johnson is a possibility but doubt he starts day one. I would think Israel will transfer if he wants to play. Kelly Bryant is a hard one. I just doubt he has the arm talent or he would have been able to move ahead of Nick. Normally you would think he might change positions but not sure where. Maybe RB if depth is getting thin. No room at WR. Some have said safety but don't know. The spring game will be worth watching this year!

Bryant is way to tall to be a good RB. He is 6'4" and last I saw he had beefed up to about 220 or so. I would think with his speed and athleticism, if he can catch, WR would absolutely be his best position. That is provided he makes the switch now and doesn't try to hold out on the QB until after fall camp when he doesn't get it. Perhaps he could also be considered for a DB position. Coach V really likes the bigger safeties and if he could make that transition, a 6'4" 220-225lb safety with his speed would be pretty awesome.
