New Years resolutions? Plans for new year

Besides Pig® pending retirement, what are your big plans for 2024 or New Year’s resolutions?
The preacher this morning posed this question to us. Never been big on these type things. I think I will try to love deeper this year, spend more quality time with loved ones, live each day fuller and watch our Tigers make the Elite 8 and knock off the Bulldogs in week one, watch both our small ball teams in the College World Series, watch our young lacrosse team in the championship game and all our Clemson teams shine bright.
Everyone be safe and if you drink don’t drive! May this year be the best year of everyone’s lives!! May health wealth and love be in abundant and unlimited supply for you all!!

Another year of challenges and opportunity

January 1 - Me thinking:
- Eat better
- Exercise more
- Read more, especially scripture
- Be more patient, kind, loving, understanding, helpful
January 8 - Me doing:
- Eating pizza
- Watching football
- Looking at Insta, TigerNet, YouTube,...
- Getting frustrated in traffic, calling out people on Tnet, getting mad at people at work, worrying about myself and not others, and forever being a WIP (Work In Progress) and asking God for forgiveness.

In general terms, my goal is to not allow myself to get distracted from things like minor home repairs and searching for a new job. If I happen to find a new job this year, I will be selling my house in Virginia and moving to Tennessee.

Thank you. Fortunately, I am not in a situation where I dislike my job, and am scrambling to find a new one because of it.
My current job is a blessing for which I am thankful. Whenever I find a new job, I will be both thankful and excited.

Drink a little more liquor, chase after my wife as often as possible, teach my grandson as much as possible and be more intentional reading my bible.

To be better prepared for FB season.
I need to have all of my home repairs, yard work etc done before the season starts. Watching FB all day knowing I have work to do is stressful. Lol.

I don’t make resolutions but I retired a year ago and 2023 was a great year for me. I am so thankful for everything I was able to do and enjoy and just hope 2024 is as much fun.
