New dog - Paw Rock training

Dec 25, 2022, 8:09 PM

We lost our 14 year old border collie Coco to mouth cancer at Thanksgiving. She was a clemson tiger through and through and dreamed about running down the hill after hitting the rock but it wasn’t to be. That said, As part of her bucket list after her diagnosis, Dabo signed a photo of her doing paw rock as she did before every kickoff - what an amazing man as he did this as Venables and Elliot left and recruiting closed in order to get it to Coco befor Xmas 2021! So after grieving, now adopted Brewie from an Aussie rescue and he’s eased the pain of losing Coco and amazingly he’s a Clemson fan too and he’s set a personal goal to perfect paw rock for the orange bowl in honor of Coco! We need all of clemson nation channeling their spirit so he picks this up and sends the good mojo to the Tigers! If there are other dogs out there with paw rock skills send some pics!

Congrats on your new family member. Although you will never completely get over losing Coco, your Brewie will be amazing. How wonderful you went thru a rescue group.

Merry Christmas

I know the feeling all too well, I lost my best friend August 6, 2021, I'm not close to being over that lost yet. My best friend brought his 7 week old silver lab over today, and while he was licking my face, the tears started steaming. At 70, I'll most likely take the heart ache of losing my Baby boy to my grave with me. I mean I still think about him every day along with my daughter. That is two heart aches that just doesn't seem to get better. I understand that our fury best friends are animals, but they need our love as much as we need theirs, so love your new friend, I promise he will love you back, their love for us is really what unconditional love is!!!!

I lost my soulmate dog on December 15th of 2021. I still think about her everyday and generally still shed a few tiers a few times a week. Someone told me “the pain never goes away, you just learn to live with it.” And truer words can’t be spoken. We did adopt a puppy in February because the missing companionship was affecting me mentally. We have Lilly now and she’s a absolute beast lol. 10000% DOG. I’ve had a harder time training her than any other dog, but she makes me happy.
