New AD Hire

I am excited about the new AD. I've watched Radakovich succeed at GT in fundraising and facilities with many limitations including an apathetic fan base, media obsession with UGA, and an albatross of a contract for Hewitt that he inherited. I am not worried about his NCAA baggage as it is widely believed that he was bullied by Paul Johnson to be uncooperative with NCAA over the $312 violation. GT has a myriad of problems, but Dan Radakovich was not one of them. To those who feel that someone within the CUAD should have been hired, I say you are wrong. It takes fresh blood and new ideas for organizations to move forward and not get stuck in the same old mindset for years. Clemson has been guilty of that in the past. This is a big-time hire for CU.

CPJ continues to deny that anything was done wrong and Radakovich supported his guy (a mistake. Paul Johnson is an insufferable bully that Radakovich should've never hired. I think it's a big reason he left GT. It won't end well with CPJ, but in terms of everything else, the guy is good-really good.
