Need an answer regarding Blacksburg this Saturday

I am looking forward to the great weather dialed in for Saturday. I am having a slight disagreement with some of my many Hokie co-workers. They keep saying how well their athletic department doled out the tix for this game via three game mini packs and so forth. The are stating that Clemson will have less than 5,000 fans in attendance. I believe that number will be trending higher. How many Tiger fans will be in Lane Stadium Saturday night? TIA

I highly doubt our allotment of visitor seats would have been 5,000. That would be 7.5% of the stadium capacity. I would feel there will be 10-12,000 orange clad Tiger faithful in attendance through IPTAY and the secondary market.

The only way to obtain Clemson tickets was through a season pass until several weeks ago when they did open up additional single game tickets to Hokie Club members only. I'm sure many members with season tickets took advantage of that and resold. I'm sure you will have plenty of Tiger friends there for the game. Safe travels to you guys!
