For weeks, some of us have been posting scenarios for the national title shot, just for fun... only for others to laugh...

Oregon won't lose
Stanford won't lose
Baylor won't lose

Now we're potentially #4, and look at the games ahead of us:

BAMA vs AU
BAMA vs MIZZOU/SCU

FSU vs UF (who will likely play out their a$$ for pride and coach...(don't laugh)
FSU vs Duke/VT

OSU vs Michigan
OSU vs MSU

MIZZOU vs TAMU

We don't deserve a shot? That's BS.... If some of these upsets happened, and we're left standing... then we would have played ourselves in.

While it would be fun, I dont want to be in a game like fsu again. Bama and OSU would do the same or worse. Just focus on the chickens.

Not laughing,however,the powers that be won't stand for a MNC game without a team from the NFL,ur ah,the SEC.FSU can waltz through the rest of their schedule even if Winston is suspended(rightly or wrongly).Just don't see a scenario that would not include a one loss SEC team.That will be either Bama,Auburn or Mizzou.

Although I would like to see Clemson play for another national championship, Clemson is out of the running for the national championship this year IMO.
(based on the results of the FSU game)

However. That doesn't mean Clemson can't win out and finish with just the one loss to possibly the national champion. That would leave Clemson with the second best record in school history and a lot of momentum going into recruiting. (especially in-state if they can win in Columbia)

Don't forget that the Winston hammer might come down hard as early as Wednesday. As sad as that situation would be, it could have a definite impact on FSU's mental state vs. UF and ACCCG.
